With growth accelerating, there is a clear need for them to build strong foundations around people, culture, and capability and this role has been created to own and shape that journey from the ground up.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As <strong>HR &amp; Talent Manager<\/strong>, you will take full ownership of the people function in a fast\u2011moving, early\u2011stage environment. This is an opportunity to be the first dedicated HR and talent hire, working closely with the leadership team to design, build, and deliver people practices that enable growth.<\/p>\n<p>The role is broad and hands\u2011on, spanning recruitment, HR operations, performance, and day\u2011to\u2011day people matters. You will be moving between strategic thinking and practical execution, bringing structure where it adds value while maintaining pace and flexibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish clear, proportionate HR processes suited to a growing business.<\/li>\n<li>Own employment contracts, HR systems, and employee records.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with UK employment law and relevant regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver effective onboarding and offboarding experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Support managers with performance management, feedback, and development.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to progression frameworks and career structures.<\/li>\n<li>Handle employee relations matters with sound judgement and discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Support compensation benchmarking and review processes.<\/li>\n<li>Lead end\u2011to\u2011end recruitment across a wide range of roles.<\/li>\n<li>Support broader operational needs in a small, hands\u2011on team.<\/li>\n<li>Identify people or organisational gaps and address them proactively.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with leaders on organisational structure and culture as the business grows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for an ambitious, pragmatic HR and Talent professional who thrives in early\u2011stage or high\u2011growth environments. You&#8217;ll be someone who can take ownership, operate with low ego and high standards, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity.
