Talent attraction, engagement, and retention are critical business priorities, and leadership views HR as a strategic lever for building culture, strengthening employee trust, and supporting long-term growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Following a recent HR systems implementation and several months of remediation work, the organization is seeking a hands-on HR leader who can provide structure, establish priorities, and help move the function from stabilization into strategic execution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">This individual will partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team while leading a small but capable HR team. There is potential for the right interim leader to be considered for the permanent role.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Lead and develop a three-person HR team while creating clarity around priorities, ownership, and execution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Oversee ongoing payroll, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee data remediation efforts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Manage open enrollment activities and support workforce integration initiatives resulting from a recent acquisition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate internal HR resources and external consultants to ensure timely execution of critical projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Create and implement a strategic HR roadmap that balances immediate operational needs with long-term business objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Strengthen employee engagement, trust, communication, and retention initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, workforce planning, and culture-building efforts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Support future growth initiatives, including acquisition integration and organizational scaling.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ideal Candidate Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The ideal candidate will be a true player-coach who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong>Required Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Leading HR within a growing, changing, or operationally complex organization.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Managing lean HR teams and operating effectively without large specialist support functions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Supporting field-based, industrial, manufacturing, construction, logistics, energy, transportation, or skilled-trades workforces.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Driving HR transformation, systems improvements, integration work, and change management initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Partnering with executive leadership on business and people strategy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Culture Fit<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">This organization values leaders who are practical, approachable, and willing to spend time understanding the realities of a field-based workforce.
