Role: HR Business Partner
Location: New York, NY
In Office Schedule: 4 days on site
Compensation range: Up to $220k base salary plus bonus
Our client is global investment firm with an excellent reputation and strong culture. They’re looking for an HR Business Partner to take ownership of the US population, function as a true partner, and integrate into the global HR team.
They’re looking for someone to be the point person in the US, build strong relationships with the senior stakeholders, and provide expertise/insight into the US market. As the sole HR professional here in the US, you must be equally comfortable working strategically and getting stuck into operational HR.
As the HR Business Partner you will be responsible for:
- Recruitment and managing agency relationships.
- Performance management.
- Onboarding and offboarding.
- Succession and business resilience planning.
- Managing the year-end process including managing performance reviews and working with the team to plan for the coming year.
- Compensation and benefits benchmarking.
- Managing immigration processes in partnership with the General Counsel.
- Assisting with culture initiatives including DEI, learning and development. and events.

Key requirements:
- 7-10+ years’ experience in HR.
- Experience working within a rigorous financial services institution.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment with a white glove service mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working within a global business with offices in different regions would be beneficial.
