As they continue to grow, we are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to join the Sydney team and play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy and supporting business success.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, strategic HR business partnering role, working closely with business leaders, COOs, and leadership teams to deliver world-class HR support. You will provide insight, advice, and practical guidance to ensure business areas achieve their commercial and people objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Partnering with leadership to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Advising and supporting on all people matters, championing the HR agenda.
- Leading the annual cycle of people activities: recruitment, pay review, performance calibration, development planning, and employee engagement.
- Using data and analytics to inform people interventions and drive decision-making.
- Leading strategic HR initiatives and projects across the business.
- Managing talent management and development, including succession and capability building.
- Supporting and coaching HR Business Partners and Advisers within the team.
- Participating in company-wide projects and initiatives.
About You
You are a confident, commercial HR professional with proven experience at Senior HR Business Partner or management level. You thrive in fast-paced, complex environments and are passionate about the impact great HR can have on business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to link HR activity to business objectives and influence at senior levels.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global business, ideally within financial services or insurance.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyse data and metrics to inform strategy.
- Experience leading HR programmes, talent management, and organisational development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields.
This is a permanent role paying $180,000 – $200,00 + Super + Bonus starting ASAP. They tend to be in the office 4 days a week so if you are after more days at home, this might not be the one for you.
