Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced recruitment professional to join a leading firm in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in lateral hiring within a financially regulated environment, particularly Insurance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm’s talent strategy and delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: liaise with hiring managers, take briefs, post roles, conduct market mapping, and approach candidates directly.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with the firm’s values.
  • Lead recruiter briefings and manage agency relationships, including terms, disputes, and candidate ownership.
  • Provide strategic recruitment advice to Partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interviews and logistics with administrative support.
  • Deliver high-quality market intelligence and mapping reports.
  • Support and participate in firmwide EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) initiatives.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
  • Use market insights to guide hiring decisions and talent acquisition strategies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven recruitment experience within financial services – Insurance sector preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments and lateral hiring.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and market mapping tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and produce detailed market analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
