The Role
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, driving HR strategy, and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice. You’ll work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver people initiatives that align with the firm’s values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across the firm.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development strategies.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Manage compensation and benefits benchmarking and reviews.
- Support organisational change and workforce planning.
- Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensure GDPR and regulatory compliance in all HR practices.
About You
We’re looking for a confident, proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment.
Essential Requirements
- Proven HR experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above).
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Discreet, professional, and emotionally intelligent.
