Job Title: People Operations Team Lead
Role Overview:
This is an opportunity to join a small developing company of circa 20 employees in their London West End office (part of a larger global network). The role is a People Operations role, driving excellence across the HR team as well as driving people initiatives across the business.
This role leads a team of HR professionals, driving key initiatives across data & reporting, learning & development, and recruitment. Acting as a strategic partner, the People Team Lead collaborates with senior leadership to enhance employee experience, optimise HR operations, and contribute to workforce planning and talent strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Learning Development
- Mentor and develop HR professionals, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Oversee training programs, leadership development, and skills-gap assessments.
HR Analytics, Reporting & Recruitment Strategy
- Manage HR reporting, analysing key metrics to drive data-led decision-making.
- Lead recruitment strategies, ensuring effective talent acquisition and hiring practices.
Workforce Planning & Employee Experience
- Oversee performance management, reviews, and development initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing programs to enhance workplace culture.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Streamline HR processes, ensuring efficiency and legal compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using HR systems (e.g., HiBob) and analysing HR metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CIPD certification and expertise in payroll processing.
