Overview
A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join its Business Services Recruiting team, with a focus on delivering high-impact, complex technology hires across the firm.
This role is suited to a polished, high-performing recruiter who can operate at a senior level partnering with stakeholders, influencing hiring strategy, and driving delivery while remaining hands-on in execution. You will play a key role in shaping technical hiring outcomes within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle recruitment for complex technical roles, including niche and business-critical positions
- Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, hiring managers, and technical leaders, providing guidance on hiring strategy and market insights
- Drive proactive sourcing efforts through direct sourcing, market mapping, networking, and external partnerships
- Conduct in-depth, competency-based interviews to assess technical capability and cultural fit
- Manage multiple active requisitions (approx. 8-10 at any time) while maintaining a high bar for quality
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring consistent communication, process ownership, and engagement
- Influence hiring decisions through data, market intelligence, and candidate insights
- Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to overall team development and performance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and efficiency across the recruitment lifecycle
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within:
- A law firm or professional services environment, or a high-performing agency environment with exposure to complex technical hiring
- Proven experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g. IT, data, infrastructure, systems, or emerging technologies)
- Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience engaging senior and client-facing individuals
- Confident, polished communicator with the ability to influence, advise, and challenge when needed
- Hands-on recruiter who can balance strategic thinking with delivery
- Comfortable operating in a lean team environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated career progression and ownership of increasingly senior hiring mandates
