About the Company

Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with an international listed business that operates veterinary services. This is a newly created role based in Sydney or Melbourne with travel around Australia. This is the lead HR role in a growing business and will support around 600 people along with management responsibility for a HRBP, TA Manager and Payroll.

About the Role

This is a broad generalist role providing guidance and coaching on everything from ER, to OD and employee experience. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be crucial in developing and influencing people related initiatives and activities closely aligned to short and long term priorities. The main responsibilities include:

  • Design and execute the people strategy by working in partnership with the Managing Director and Regional Directors on the key people priorities.
  • Coaching and developing the leadership team across operations to drive engagement and improvements, building high-performance teams, talent, succession planning and leadership development.
  • Lead on HR Projects such and support the implementation of any new systems and processes to support change.
  • Driving HR data and analytics to ensure HR reporting is implemented across the business to influence and inform decision making and strategic planning
  • Oversee Talent Management initiatives to identify, assess, develop, engage and reward high performing and high potential talent
  • Proactively benchmarking HR best practice, internally and externally, recommending and implementing these approaches to support and improve people plans and actions

About You

This is a great opportunity for a confident and commercial H professional who has proven leadership capability, strong influencing skills at the Exec level and comfortable with fast-paced growth and M&A. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner or Head of level, leading HR strategies and connecting this with the overall business strategy to people and operations plans.
  • Proven experience influencing stakeholders, shaping strategies and challenging the status quo
  • Strong Business Acumen, pragmatism & commercial mind set with experience analysing data and metrics.
  • Significant experience of leading transformational change and ideally related to post-acquisition integration.
  • Experience leading HR Programmes and initiatives including talent management and employee engagement
  • In depth payroll knowledge will be highly beneficial.

This is a permanent role paying $190,000 – $200,00 + Super. Starting ASAP.
