Hr Administrator

As an HR Administrator, you’ll be based in the London office, which houses over 130 lawyers and a total headcount of around 250. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit HR team that includes the HR Manager and HR Coordinator, supporting both operational and strategic HR functions.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong sense of discretion and professionalism. It suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional services environment and is looking to build a career in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday, including joiners, leavers, absence, and secondments.
- Monitor HR inboxes and respond to queries.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including Right to Work checks.
- Prepare employment-related letters (e.g. references, salary changes, probation).
- Manage lawyer holiday queries and calculations.
- Maintain HR trackers and intranet pages.
- Schedule meetings and support wellbeing initiatives.
- Diarise key HR dates (e.g. probation reviews, visa expirations).
- Assist with ad hoc projects, audits, and wider HR team tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in HR or administration, ideally within professional services.
- Strong IT skills; Workday experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Confident communicator with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Discreet, reliable, and a genuine team player.
- Degree-level education preferred but not essential.
