HR Advisor

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong employee relations experience who is looking to take the next step in their career with a business that actively invests in development and promotes from within.

Working closely with managers and employees across a large operational workforce, you’ll play a key role in supporting people initiatives, delivering expert HR advice, and managing a varied ER caseload. This role would suit a confident HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building strong relationships across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a broad range of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Coaching and supporting managers on HR best practice and employment law.
• Leading investigations and ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes.
• Supporting employee engagement, performance management and people initiatives.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects and helping shape HR processes.

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role.
• Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex casework independently.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) would be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as occasional travel may be required.
