Role Overview:

This role provides strategic HR support to multiple fee earner practice groups, driving talent management, employee engagement, and business-aligned HR initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, the HR Business Partner collaborates with senior leaders to enhance performance management, workforce planning, and diversity initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor (with experience of working closely and partnering with fee earners to step up in to a true HR Business Partner opportunity).

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

  • Provide commercial HR advice to support business strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Support change management, organisational structures, and workforce planning.
  • Manage employee relations cases with sensitivity and diligence.
  • Guide leaders in performance management, parental leave, and flexible working policies.

Talent & Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance review processes and salary moderation.
  • Coach managers on delivering effective feedback.
  • Identify training needs and support development initiatives.

Compensation & Reward:

  • Ensure a commercially sound salary and bonus review process.
  • Provide market insights on remuneration trends and business impact.

Diversity & Inclusion:

  • Embed inclusive hiring and talent development practices.
  • Support leaders in fostering an equitable workplace culture.

HR Policy & Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies remain compliant and aligned with best practices.
  • Lead on policy development and service optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • CIPD qualified with proven experience in HR advisory roles.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial HR expertise.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in change management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
