Position Summary
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a versatile and experienced HR Manager / Office Manager to oversee human resources operations and office administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within the apparel or textile industry, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management
- Serve as a liaison between management and employees, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture
- Manage office operations including vendor coordination, supplies, and administrative support
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies
- Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance and external providers
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
- Coordinate training programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or apparel environment
- Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
