Role Overview:
This role provides HR advisory support to business services teams, embedding Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) principles while driving employee engagement and workforce strategies. Working closely with senior leaders and HR teams, the HR Manager ensures best practices in talent management, policy compliance, and inclusive hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR matters.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Analyse HR data to inform business decisions and optimize organizational structures.
Diversity & Inclusion (D&I):
- Implement D&I initiatives within HR policies and talent development.
- Support inclusive hiring practices and employee engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with diversity networks to drive equitable workplace culture.
Employee Lifecycle & Engagement:
- Oversee onboarding, retention, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Support salary reviews, exit interviews, and workforce engagement programs.
- Ensure HR services align with business needs and compliance requirements.
Policy & Compliance:
- Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring legal compliance.
- Support employee relations cases and policy development.
- Collaborate with HR teams to streamline service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CIPD qualified with strong HR experience, ideally in a law firm or partnership setting.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, talent management, and D&I integration.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data for strategic decisions.
