Job Title: Recruiter

Duration: Temp-to-Perm

Location: South Bronx, NY (onsite)

Pay Rate: $45-$60 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-cycle Recruiter to take ownership of the hiring process from intake through offer. This role is ideal for a proactive, sourcing-driven recruiter who can partner closely with hiring managers, bring structure to recruiting efforts, and improve the overall quality of hires. You will operate as a standalone recruiter, working directly with leadership and building effective hiring practices in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management (project manager, engineering, sales (entry-level), back-office, manufacturing and operations roles)
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and define role requirements
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies with a strong focus on LinkedIn and direct outreach
  • Identify and evaluate candidates based on both experience and transferable skills
  • Drive the interview process and ensure a strong candidate experience
  • Lead offer negotiations and successfully close candidates
  • Partner with HR to facilitate onboarding and ensure smooth transitions
  • Build structure and consistency across recruiting processes
  • Advise and push back on hiring managers when needed to ensure alignment and realistic expectations
  • Spend time onsite to understand roles, operations, and team dynamics

Qualifications

  • Proven full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, especially via LinkedIn
  • Ability to assess candidate profiles and identify transferable skills
  • Experience recruiting across corporate, operational, or manufacturing roles is a plus
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with hiring managers
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions
