VP/ Associate Director, Learning & Talent
Overview: Our client, a leading global financial firm, is seeking a seasoned, strategic and experienced Talent Management professional to join its Learning & Development team in New York. This highly visible role reports directly into the Head of Talent Management and offers the opportunity to influence and evolve development programming across the firm. The team is collaborative, high-performing, and deeply committed to advancing tailored talent solutions across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative Learning & Development programs that align with business goals and employee growth
- Lead or contribute to succession planning, high-potential development, and executive coaching initiatives
- Oversee or partner on Hogan assessments (experience with Hogan preferred; related assessments accepted)
- Manage external L&D vendors, facilitators, and consultants
- Administer the firm’s LinkedIn Learning platform and continuously optimize digital resources
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the firms SME program that leverages existing leaders to do leadership development through conducting experiential sessions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor offerings to specific teams and individual needs
- Support new headcount growth and serve as a thought partner to the Head of Talent Management
Qualifications:
- 10+ years minimum of progressive experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development
- Significant experience in financial or professional services, running learning and development platforms
- Strong background in designing bespoke development solutions across organizational levels
- Experience with conducting personality or leadership assessments (Hogan experience a plus)
- Proven track record in vendor management, coaching initiatives, and program innovation
- Executive presence with strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills
