Location: New York, NY
In Office Schedule: 3 days on site
Compensation range: $175-225k base salary
Our client is a global AM200 law firm who is looking for a Legal Recruitment Manager to take ownership of their US legal recruitment. The role will cover lateral Partner/Counsel and associate level hiring and is a great opportunity to take the lead on strategy, refine systems and processes, and really be the expert on recruitment in the firm.
Reporting to the CHRO, this role will:
- Be responsible for managing all aspects legal hiring.
- Develop and maintain relationships with search firms, manage the interview process and work closely with Firm and Practice leadership.
- Be responsible for developing and owning recruitment strategy.
- Work to refine the recruitment process to ensure an excellent candidate experience and successful hiring outcome.
- Organize and attend recruiting events in order to proactively connect with the best talent.
- Manage the summer and fall associate program.
- Determine and manage the annual budget for recruitment.
Key requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a law firm environment.
- Experience with lateral recruitment required. Experience with associate hiring beneficial but not required.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment with a white glove service mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
