I am an Associate Director who lives near Bath and recruits all HR professionals into interim and permanent positions across the South West Regions. Having grown up and lived in the area for a number of years I have got an excellent understanding of the local market as well as an enviable network of talented HR professionals.
My recruitment career started in 2005 with Hays. I have worked across various disciplines and have specialised within HR since 2011. During my time with Hays I was fortunate enough to work across various locations within the UK and overseas in Brisbane Australia. I set up the HR divisions in Reading, South West London and Bath and was the HR lead across the Southern home counties supporting a team of 8 consultants.
I have worked with diverse industries and organisations throughout my career and have been the account manager for various clients within retail, not for profit, local government, engineering, media, legal and FMCG.
I work in partnership with my clients providing them with up to date market information and trends within recruitment & HR. I organise networking events which include round table HRD forums, employment law seminars’ and social networking which is great for the local HR network.
Having worked within recruitment for many years, my expertise lie within my ability to build effective and credible relationships with my candidates and clients. I possess an invaluable skill set and believe in offering advice and guidance whilst delivering an honest and effective recruitment solution. I ensure I match not only on skill set but cultural fit and if identify talent that I believe in I always ensure a conversation takes place. I encourage candidates and clients to think outside the box and consider all options. One size doesn’t fit all!
My networking in the local market is key, this allows me to stay up to date with market trends and top talent setting myself above the competition.
I am an energetic mummy who is a crazy Netball fan! I play for a local team and watch all the live games as well as going to the internationals’ when I can. I enjoy fitness and eating cake! If I do both I can convince myself I have a good balance!
