Talent Sourcing & Research Specialist (Business Services)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

An international law firm is seeking a Talent Sourcing & Research Specialist to join its Human Capital & Talent team. This individual will play a key role in supporting business services recruitment through market intelligence, proactive sourcing, and pipeline development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines using advanced sourcing tools and strategies.
  • Analyze talent market data to support recruiting strategy and decision-making.
  • Proactively identify talent for recurring and strategic hiring needs.
  • Develop and manage market maps and passive candidate target lists for active searches.
  • Engage passive candidates through outreach and conduct initial qualification discussions.
  • Produce competitive intelligence reports on organizational structure, compensation, talent trends, and hiring activity across relevant industries.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of integrity.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sourcing, talent research, or recruitment within a global or large-scale professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, Boolean search, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to source and manage pipelines within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences.
