Early Careers Recruiter (Maternity Cover – Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: London | Start Date: Early December

Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Early Careers Recruiter for a maternity cover FTC.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the attraction, selection, and engagement of top early careers talent across apprentice, intern, and graduate programmes. You’ll drive a well-defined recruitment strategy and ensure the smooth delivery of hiring activities across multiple business areas and locations.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Attraction

  • Plan and deliver engaging events-virtually, on campus, in schools, and in offices-targeting students from Year 12 through to undergraduates and their influencers.
  • Collaborate with the Employer Brand team and business stakeholders to create compelling social media assets.

Candidate Screening & Assessment

  • Manage the full early careers recruitment lifecycle, including application screening, video interviews, and assessment centre invitations.
  • Coordinate assessment centres: scheduling, agenda planning, assessor training, and candidate support.
  • Lead post-assessment reviews, extend offers, and provide constructive feedback to candidates.
  • Work cross-functionally to maintain accurate tracking and ensure a seamless candidate experience and onboarding process.

Candidate Experience & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with candidates from first click to first day-offering coaching, hosting webinars, and nurturing top talent throughout the process.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor on all things early careers, building strong relationships across the business.
  • Lead regular operational meetings, presenting data-driven insights and updates.
  • Support quarterly reviews and seasonal planning sessions.

Background

  • Proven experience managing full lifecycle early careers or graduate recruitment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative approach.
