Overview
An organization is seeking an experienced Executive Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support compensation planning and benefits administration for senior leadership. This role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of executive pay programs, performance cycles, and benefit offerings in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support executive compensation processes, including salary reviews, bonus cycles, and long-term incentive programs
- Assist in coordinating performance review cycles for senior leaders, including tracking goals and evaluations
- Partner with HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure accurate compensation processing and reporting
- Maintain and analyze compensation data, preparing reports for leadership review
- Help administer deferred compensation and executive retirement plans, including enrollments and distributions
- Liaise with external vendors and third-party administrators to support benefits programs
- Monitor timelines, documentation, and compliance requirements related to executive compensation and benefits
- Assist with specialized compensation matters such as off-cycle payments, transitions, or retirements
- Support expense tracking, invoicing, and budgeting related to compensation and benefits programs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive executive data
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in executive compensation, benefits, or HR operations
- Financial services industry experience is required
- Strong understanding of incentive compensation structures and benefits programs
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
