I am delighted to support a fantastic client based in London to recruit an HRIS Officer on a 3-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will act as first-line support in the implementation of Workday. This role requires Workday implementation experience, as you will be creating user-friendly guidance documentation to facilitate system adoption, internal Workday policies, UAT testing activities, and other front-line support for Workday tickets. Immediate availability or very short notice is required as our clients are looking for the incoming candidate to start asap.

Core Duties

  • Develop and maintain user-friendly training materials and guidance documents to facilitate system adoption.
  • Contribute to the revision and enhancement of internal policies and procedural documentation.
  • Deliver training sessions and provide ongoing assistance to users navigating Workday features.
  • Detect and address inconsistencies or missing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues, offering frontline support and escalating where necessary.
  • Join project team meetings to stay aligned with implementation progress and updates.
  • Submit change requests and support tickets related to Workday as needed.
  • Carry out additional tasks that contribute to the successful deployment of Workday.
  • Demonstrate values through professional conduct, decision-making, and collaboration.
  • Take on other duties as directed by the line manager or Group HR Director.
  • Travel to other offices when required.
  • Proven experience in supporting an ongoing Workday HRIS implementation is essential.
  • Strong foundation in HR principles and practical experience.
  • Ability to understand business needs and collaborate effectively to solve challenges.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and guide decision-making.
  • Proactive in driving HR initiatives and contributing to new projects.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to maintain composure during setbacks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Builds strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • Self-aware and open to feedback, actively seeking opportunities for growth and development.

The role offers a competitive package of up to £50,000 p.a. on a fixed-term contract duration. You will benefit from an agile and hybrid working model and be given autonomy.
