People Operations Lead – Interim
Location: Hybrid (London-based)

A fast-paced, global technology organisation is seeking a strategic and experienced People Operations Lead on an interim basis to join its People & Culture team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences through operational excellence. The role is based in Central London 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Lead and deliver people operations projects, including system and process improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Legal, Benefits, and People Partners to ensure seamless execution of shared processes.
- Maintain and enhance HR systems (e.g., Workday), ensuring data integrity and improved functionality.
- Provide accurate reporting and compliance documentation.
- Continuously improve internal policies, documentation, and service delivery standards.
- Mentor team members and contribute to capability building across the function.
About You:
- 6+ years of experience in HR operations or people services, ideally in high-growth or global environments.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (preferably Workday) and data reporting, and experience working with Slack is an added bonus
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Discreet, professional, and committed to confidentiality.
