Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Specialist to support internal payroll operations. Although payroll is processed through an external provider, they need someone internally who can ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all payroll data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee timekeeping, timesheets, and hours worked.
- Review, validate, and maintain payroll accuracy before submitting to the external payroll provider.
- Gather, verify, and enter all payroll-related data for processing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and pay timelines.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain organized payroll records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Previous payroll experience required (any payroll system or external provider exposure is helpful).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
