Role: Vice President, Learning & Development

Location: New York, NY (Chicago, LA, and Dallas also considered)

In Office Schedule: 4 days on site

Compensation Range: $140-170k base plus bonus

Our client is a rapidly growing professional services firm recognized for excellence and accelerated growth. They are seeking a Vice President, Learning & Development (L&D) to join their HR team and play a critical role in shaping and executing firmwide L&D strategy.

This is a high-impact role reporting to the Head of Human Resources and working closely with senior leadership.

As the VP, L&D you will be responsible for:

  • Assess organizational learning needs to identify skill gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic learning roadmap aligned with firm objectives.
  • Create, launch, and manage impactful learning programs across the business including facilitating programs live.
  • Adapt strategies for diverse audiences and scale initiatives to support organizational growth.
  • Track program effectiveness using data insights (completion rates, feedback, skills metrics).

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of L&D experience within professional services, consulting or advisory firms.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentations and clear, impactful reporting.
  • Thrives in dynamic, lean environments, demonstrating agility and adaptability.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and responsiveness.
  • Proven success under pressure in client-facing, high-stakes settings.
