Location: Hong Kong (with regular travel to Mainland China)
Languages: Fluent Mandarin & English (Cantonese a plus)

Job Purpose
This is a true business partner role supporting the operation site workforce. The HRBP will gain deep exposure to the business structure, leadership style, and organizational model, while designing and implementing people strategies that address operational challenges. Beyond execution, this role will plan, design, and deliver HR initiatives that strengthen talent pipelines and drive performance across Hong Kong and China.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HRBP for the operation site, providing strategic HR advisory services to management and employees.
- Partner with line managers to deliver HR services including manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, and talent development.
- Advise leadership on HR strategy covering performance, talent development, compensation & benefits, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including transformation projects and restructuring.
- Drive HR projects and build a strong HR presence across the region.
- Participate in ad hoc HR assignments as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ HRBP experience, ideally in multinational firms.
- Strong background in chemical, manufacturing or energy sectors preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and English (Cantonese a plus).
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships across multiple sites, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations management.
- Energetic, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and capable of driving change initiatives.
