Talent Development Coordinator- CLE

Location: New York

A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Talent Development Coordinator to join its Talent Development team. This role will serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on Continuing Legal Education (CLE), while also supporting attorney training, professional development programmes, and firmwide talent initiatives.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional development, attorney development, CLE, or legal education specialist looking to join a collaborative team within a sophisticated law firm environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of CLE accreditation, attorney compliance tracking, internal training programmes, and learning management systems, while partnering with attorneys and business services professionals across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

CLE Administration & Compliance

  • Manage firmwide CLE accreditation and compliance processes
  • Maintain CLE provider status across multiple jurisdictions
  • Track individual attorney requirements and compliance deadlines
  • Serve as the primary resource for CLE-related enquiries and requirements

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate internal attorney training programmes and learning initiatives
  • Administer the firm’s learning management system and CLE library
  • Support conference planning, professional development programmes, and attorney reviews
  • Assist with programme logistics, communications, and reporting

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with attorneys and business professionals at all levels
  • Partner with departments including IT, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations
  • Support client-facing educational programmes and accreditation efforts

Ideal Background

  • Experience within attorney development, professional development, learning & development, CLE administration, legal recruiting, or legal HR
  • Prior law firm or professional services experience preferred
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance focus
