Interim HR Business Partner
Hampshire/Surrey| Hybrid | £65,000-£75,000 + Benefits | 6 Month FTC
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a growing organisation operating within the Defence sector.
With approximately 250 employees across a diverse group of businesses, the organisation has experienced significant growth through both acquisition and organic expansion and is now investing in strengthening and modernising its people function.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of operational and transformational HR initiatives. This is a highly visible position requiring a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building structure, improving processes and driving meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and managers across the business on people matters
- Provide expert support on employee relations cases, investigations and outcomes
- Coach and develop HR colleagues and people managers
- Lead the review and implementation of employment contracts and HR documentation
- Create and improve HR templates, processes and guidance materials
- Review, update and modernise people policies
- Support the annual salary and merit review process
- Deliver HR systems and process improvement projects
- Contribute to people reporting and dashboard development
- Drive improvements across learning, compliance and mandatory training processes
- Support wider cultural and organisational development initiatives
About You
- Experienced HR Business Partner or Senior HR Manager
- Strong employee relations and coaching capability
- Comfortable operating strategically and operationally
- Experience improving HR processes, policies and documentation
- Strong project management skills
- Exposure to HR systems implementations or upgrades
- Confident working in evolving environments that require pragmatism and adaptability
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
