Staffing and Operations Manager
We’re partnering with a leading global strategy consulting firm to appoint a Staffing and Operations Manager-a high-impact role supporting senior leadership across international sector teams.
This role will be a 12 month FTC.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced operations or commercial professional to sit at the centre of decision-making, driving performance across trading, staffing, and business development in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
The Opportunity
As a trusted advisor to Sector Heads, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational effectiveness and commercial success. You’ll work across geographies and functions, helping leadership teams optimise performance while supporting long-term growth and talent development.
This position offers exceptional visibility, variety, and the chance to influence how global sector teams operate.
Key Responsibilities
Sector Performance & Resourcing
- Own and manage the sector pipeline and resourcing plans
- Balance commercial targets with utilisation and development goals
- Identify risks and opportunities across global markets
Business Development & Planning
- Support high-value client proposals and BD initiatives
- Manage budgets and track performance metrics
- Ensure robust data quality across systems and reporting
Talent & Team Enablement
- Support development and deployment of talent across the sector
- Monitor team workload, wellbeing, and capability gaps
- Contribute to hiring, promotion planning, and team composition
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, staffing, knowledge, and commercial teams
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Ensure alignment with wider business priorities
Stakeholder Engagement
- Deliver clear insights and reporting to senior leadership
- Support strategic decision-making with data and analysis
- Facilitate effective communication across global teams
