Title: Temporary Recruiter
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days home)
Duration: 4 months with potential extension
Compensation: $50 – $60 per hour
Overview
A leading global investment and asset management organization is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring across a variety of corporate and business functions. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing experienced-hire recruitment processes, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proactive sourcing mindset. A combination of agency and in-house recruiting experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for experienced professional hires, serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers from intake through offer stage.
- Lead kickoff meetings to understand hiring needs, required competencies, and business objectives.
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract and secure top talent.
- Guide hiring teams through candidate evaluation, interview feedback, and selection processes.
Talent Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring and high-volume functional areas such as:
- Operations
- Finance
- Accounting
- Other corporate support functions
- Develop long-term talent networks to support future hiring needs and organizational growth.
Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Conduct direct sourcing activities to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Utilize research, talent mapping, and market insights to support recruiting strategies.
- Provide hiring managers with competitive talent market intelligence, compensation trends, and candidate availability data.
- Reduce dependency on external recruiting vendors through strategic sourcing efforts.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business priorities and workforce planning needs.
- Advise stakeholders on recruiting best practices, market conditions, and candidate calibration.
- Maintain strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners throughout the hiring process.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external search firms and recruiting partners when required for specialized searches.
- Ensure external partners align with internal recruiting processes, expectations, and service standards.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a professional, high-touch candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates regarding status, feedback, and next steps.
- Support offer negotiations and facilitate a smooth transition through acceptance and onboarding.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably focused on experienced professional hires.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing skills, including the ability to identify and engage passive talent.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
