Workday HRIS Analyst
Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Operations Lead and HRIS Director to support daily Workday administration and continuous system enhancement.
- Configure, update, and refine system settings to improve existing capabilities and introduce new functionality.
- Pinpoint areas where processes can be streamlined or automated for efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve system-related issues as they arise.
- Assist in managing and troubleshooting integrations connected to Workday.
- Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, training resources, and communication materials for new and updated processes or features.
- Provide global support related to employee data maintenance, reporting, and record management.
- Respond to reporting needs, including building new reports, updating current ones, and supporting dashboards for senior leadership.
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems.
- Take part in Workday’s bi-annual release cycles and associated testing.
- Contribute to various ad‑hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR operations with hands-on exposure to HR systems and reporting.
- At least 2 years of direct Workday experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel abilities (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables; experience with macros is a plus).
- Ability to compile HR data, perform analyses, and present insights that support better decision‑making.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Comfortable interacting with employees, stakeholders, and external partners at all levels.
- Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
- Adaptable, comfortable in a dynamic environment, and open to evolving responsibilities.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and handling several tasks or projects at once.
- Expected base salary: $75,000-$100,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
