Senior HR Manager Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days per week in-office) Employment Type: Full-time (will consider 4 days per week)

Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of a dedicated HR Advisory team, ensuring high-quality support for a range of client groups within a professional services environment. The position involves managing daily operations, enhancing processes, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and supporting career development within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring seamless service delivery across all aspects of HR operations.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and best practices.
  • Oversee the review and implementation of HR policies to align with business needs.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including both graduate and lateral hiring.
  • Work closely with learning and development teams to implement training initiatives.
  • Monitor trends and proactively address emerging HR concerns.

Team Management

  • Direct oversight of a team of HR managers and advisors based in London.
  • Responsible for the operational support of a subset of client groups.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a professional services environment, preferably within the legal sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and hands-on experience managing complex ER cases.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement.
  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple jurisdictions is beneficial.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in team development and talent management.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach to working within a dynamic environment.
