I work within the interim team covering financial and professional services in the UK. This encompasses generalist HR, talent acquisition, talent/learning & development, change and transformation and consultancy roles at all levels of the industry. I am fully involved in delivering senior level searches and appointments in the UK and have supported law firms, consultancies and an array of financial service institutions with interim opportunities on both a day rate and fixed term basis. I have the best team at Frazer Jones, it’s never a dull day on our desk.
After graduating from Loughborough University in 2003 I worked a ski season in Courchevel then a summer season in Rhodes. I then joined Carnival Cruise lines for a couple of years before starting my recruitment career in 2006 with Badenoch & Clark and moving to Frazer Jones in 2010.
I have supported a large range of organisations throughout my career, which includes partnering with Magic Circle law firms, Big Four Consultancies and the full range of FS firms including insurance, asset / investment management, hedge funds, private banks and investment banks.
Interim recruitment...I love the pace and buzz that makes the interim market so much more alive and dynamic than the permanent space. That, accompanied with the necessity to prioritise workloads and work to tight timeframes has always fuelled my passion and motivation in my work.
Relationship management…No more so than in HR are relationships so important. I have built so many, meaningful, long-term relationships in my career I can now call many HR Professionals friends whom I’ve supported on multiple assignments. It’s this cyclical nature of the interim HR market covering projects, maternity covers, permanent backfills etc that offers such variety and keeps me sane.
I love a physical challenge and generally line a couple up every year; Tough Mudder, Trail Walker (100km walk), Prudential 100 & New Forest 100 (100 miles cycling), various half marathons and 10km’s etc. I’m passionate about skiing, like Scuba diving and play golf once in a blue moon.
