Our client, a highly innovative global, Asia headquartered, Technology organization is looking to appoint a commercial, high performing and dynamic Global HR Business Partner to partner their Data and Technology businesses internationally, working closely with Group HQ in China, as well as a number of other international markets.

Reporting to the Group Head of HR Business Partnering, this individual, will be responsible for partnering the Data, Technology, AI / Product leadership teams to focus on innovation and product development within this pacey and complex organization. More specifically, you will drive the people strategy across your business areas, you will operate as a trusted HR Business Partner and adviser to the leadership team with a focus on providing consultative advice on all things people related, in a coach capacity. You will manage and drive annual HR processes such as salary and bonus review, and managing talent assessments, development, performance management and succession processes. You will also lead HR projects internationally, such as M&A, re-structures, policy changes etc. You will also manage complex employee relations cases and be comfortable leveraging HR data and analytics to help inform decision making. You will also be comfortable working closely with Group HQ and Regional based HR COE’s.

You will be an accomplished and high performing HR Business Partner, with a track record operating in large global international matrix structures, that are fast-paced and performance driven. Industry experience operating in a global Technology / AI or a global MNC e.g. FMCG environment is preferred, with the ability to also navigate ambiguity in start-up environments. As you will be working directly with leaders based in China, some of which have limited English language skills, the ability to speak (and ideally write) Mandarin Chinese is required. Excellent communication and stakeholder management is preferred.
