My client is a growing and highly successful construction business and they are looking to appoint a Group Training & Development Manager to lead innovative learning initiatives across their organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and roll out a company-wide training strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Drive recruitment and development of apprentices and graduates through industry-leading schemes. These will be small cohorts, however you must have experience with the apprenticeship and graduate processes within a business.
- Design engaging programmes covering onboarding, technical skills, leadership, and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, mentors, and external training providers.
- Monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously improve training initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in training and development, ideally within a technical or construction-related environment. If you do not have construction or similar businesses, you must be used to working with diverse and multi-sited workforces.
- Experience creating and running apprentice and graduate programmes within a similar sector.
- Ability to create impactful learning experiences and manage programmes end-to-end.
- You will have experience working with external learning partners whilst also be confident delivering internal learning programmes.
- You will be confident working with senior level stakeholders and will have partnered with them to build relevant training programmes.
- Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable.

Salary: £70,000 + bonus and benefits
Location: Head Office (West London) reachable by public transport or car.
Hybrid working: 4 days on-site
