I am delighted to be partnering with a global publishing company that empowers and shapes the future of social science and research. They are looking to appoint a Head of HR Business Partnering to join the team and drive the continued growth and development of the HR offering.

About the role..

As Head of HR Business Partnering, you will lead a team of 5 (x3 HRBP’s and x2 HR Officers) and report directly to the Associate VP of HR for the UK. Your role will be to lead, coach and develop the team who are responsible for partnering with their business areas offering guidance on all generalist HR activity.

You will ensure proactive, data driven insights which will in turn drive commercial decision making and identify targeted HR projects to drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Associate VP of HR to shape and deliver the HR strategy across the business and enable the teams to build on stakeholder engagement and wider business partnerships. This role will also work as part of the global HR teams to craft and develop strategic HR solutions across the business.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to really develop and implement the HR strategy and coach and lead a HR Business partnering team.

About you..

You will be an experienced senior HR professional currently in a Head of level role or Senior HRBP currently managing a team that includes HR business partners. You will be commercially minded and able to work in a collaborative way to enable and develop your team and build trusted HR relationships with your stakeholders. You will be an experienced HR generalist that is used to working in a fast paced and driven environment covering the full employee lifecycle with a business partnering approach. This will include employee relations escalations, performance management, employee engagement and HR analytics.

As the business grows by acquisition globally you will be able to demonstrate your experience working across merger and acquisitions from due diligence to integrating culture and people development. You will have experience working across organisational restructuring and aligning HR activity to new business objectives.

The client is ideally looking for senior HR professionals that have worked across fast paced businesses ideally FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods), professional services or global B2C companies that are 1000 plus headcounts.

Salary: £85,000 – £90,000 plus excellent benefits

Location: London – Hybrid working model 2 days in office
