Head of People Operations
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of People Operations to join a fast-growing, ambitious business at an exciting stage of its journey. This role is ideal for a people operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and enjoys building scalable processes, leading high-performing teams, and creating an exceptional employee experience.
Leading a team of 5, you will take ownership of the operational delivery of the People function, ensuring efficient, compliant and people-focused processes across the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, embedding best practice, and building the infrastructure needed to support a growing workforce.
This opportunity would suit an individual from a People Operations, HR Operations or Shared Services background, ideally gained within a scale-up or high-growth environment, where change is constant and agility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a People Operations team of 5.
- Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Drive continuous improvement across people processes, systems and data.
- Ensure compliance, governance and payroll-related processes are effectively managed.
- Deliver accurate people reporting and insights to support decision-making.
- Build scalable solutions to support organisational growth.
About You
- Proven experience leading a People Operations or HR Operations function.
- Background within a scale-up, high-growth or rapidly changing business.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, HR systems and people data.
- A proactive, organised leader with a passion for improving processes and developing teams.
- Confident working with stakeholders across the business and managing competing priorities.
