HR Assistant / HR Coordinator

A leading international law firm with a strong multinational culture is seeking an HR Assistant / HR Coordinator to support its HR function in Hong Kong. This role reports directly to a Senior HR Manager and provides hands‑on HR Generalist support across daily operations and execution.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career HR professional to gain broad exposure within a structured, high‑quality HR environment. The role supports end‑to‑end HR processes and works closely with internal stakeholders in a fast‑paced, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR Generalist support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee administration
  • Support payroll processing, including data preparation, validation, and coordination with vendors
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding documentation
  • Handle Law Society-related matters, including trainee registration, compliance documentation, and renewals
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Support HR operations, reporting, and ad‑hoc HR projects as required
  • Act as a first point of contact for basic HR enquiries

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services, or financial services environment
  • Hands‑on exposure to payroll, recruitment coordination, and Law Society administration is highly preferred
  • Requires Good command of Mandarin, English and Cantonese
  • Strong attention to detail with an organised and proactive working style
  • Upbeat, motivated, and eager to learn within a professional HR environment
  • Comfortable supporting both routine operations and time‑sensitive tasks
