We are delighted to be partnering with a leading financial services group with a strong growth, M&A and transformation agenda in their search to appoint a Group HR Business Partner. As the successor to the Group Head of HR Business Partnering, you will work directly with the C-suite and board of JV’s and a number of business areas across the group, as a trusted strategic HR Business Partner within this fast paced, complex and international environment.

As a HR Business Partner, in an individual contributor capacity, you will be responsible for operating in to a strategic and hands role, leading all HR BP activities end-to-end; such as talent management, performance management, employee relations, salary and bonus review, working closely with the COE teams. Given the growth and transformation of this particular business area, you will have a strong track record supporting M&A projects and leading organization design, target operating model and re-structuring projects, also being highly numerate with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

While this financial services group is a well-established and structured and matrix environment as a whole, this particular business area that you will partner is in growth, transformation and start-up phase, therefore they need someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a naturally consultative and strategic approach to solutions. This will be a busy and varied position and they are looking for someone with a high performance and pro-active approach to work.

Essential: This individual will have strategic and commercial HR Business Partner experience ideally within a large global complex Financial Services, FinTech, Tech or Healthcare environment. Some form of start-up experience would also be beneficial but is not required. An induvial who perhaps started their career in Org Design, Human Capital or Exec Comp consulting that latterly transitioned in house in a HR BP capacity would be preferable given the visibility and complexity of the role.
