I’m supporting a hugely innovative non‑profit organisation looking for an experienced People Advisor to provide 6‑month maternity cover. The People Partnering team is proactive, with a focus on visibility and service, and works closely with sector specialists and operational leaders across the organisation. This role provides advisory support to a client group of around 350.
They need someone who can step in confidently and manage:
- Day‑to‑day advisory work in a fast‑moving, evolving environment
- ER cases (sickness, probation, informal conflict)
- Manager coaching and relationship building
- Recruitment support, benchmarking and planning
- Project work including appraisals, remuneration uplifts, reward strategy, OD and annual process reviews
- HRIS: Workday
The experience you’ll bring:
- Strong HR Advisor experience
- Confidence in ER and coaching managers
- Comfortable with ambiguity and scaling environments
- Ability to build credibility and rapport with stakeholders
- Values‑driven and emotionally intelligent
