A leading professional services organisation based in Oxford is seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead and develop its in house recruitment function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys combining hands on hiring delivery with people leadership. Reporting into the senior HR leadership team, you will manage a team of four Recruiters while partnering closely with business leaders to attract and hire high-calibre talent across a diverse range of specialist and business services functions.
The Role
As Recruitment Manager, you will take ownership of the end to end recruitment strategy and delivery across the business. Working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, you’ll balance operational recruitment responsibilities with the coaching, development and performance management of your team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of four Recruiters
- Managing recruitment activity across a wide range of professional and business support roles
- Acting as a trusted adviser to hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- Driving direct sourcing initiatives and reducing reliance on agencies where appropriate
- Ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Developing recruitment strategies aligned to current and future business needs
- Monitoring recruitment metrics and using data to drive continuous improvement
- Managing agency relationships and supplier performance
- Supporting employer branding and attraction initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, systems and ways of working
About You
We’re looking for an experienced recruitment leader who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to deliver key hires as they are leading and developing a team.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience managing an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition team
- Strong hands-on recruitment experience across professional services, consultancy, legal, accountancy or a similar environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A commercial and proactive approach to talent acquisition
- Experience managing multiple recruitment projects and priorities simultaneously
- A track record of coaching, developing and motivating recruitment teams
- Strong sourcing, interviewing and assessment capabilities
- Experience using ATS and recruitment technology platforms
