Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner

London/Hybrid 4:1 split

UK & US remit

£45,000-£50,000

We are partnering with a high‑growth international sales business who are hiring for a Senior HR Advisor to strengthen operational HR capability and support managers with confidence and credibility.

You’ll work closely with Chief People Officer and People Director as a true go‑to HR partner, joining a small, evolving People function where visibility, impact, and ownership are high. The business needs someone who knows what great HR looks like and can bring it’s people along for the journey.

Key responsibilities include

  • First‑line HR support to managers across UK and US
  • Owning performance management and probation processes
  • Managing ER cases with a strong focus on performance and case management
  • Supporting UK & US onboarding compliance
  • Coaching and development of first‑time managers (role‑playing conversations, writing scripts, confidence building)
  • Advising on PIPs, probation reviews, and day‑to‑day people decisions
  • Drafting and updating HR policies
  • Using HR data and systems to track probation, onboarding, and performance
  • Improving and embedding better use of HiBob
  • Contributing ideas around automation, AI, and process improvement

You’ll likely have

  • 4-6 years HR experience in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong, practical experience in performance management and ER
  • Clear exposure to US HR practices (US benefits experience is a big plus)
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Confidence answering first‑line HR questions from managers
  • Experience owning onboarding compliance end‑to‑end
  • Comfortable working within a lean People team where not everything is polished yet
