Senior HR Business Partner
My client is a global logistics business looking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. This is an opportunity to operate at the heart of the organisation-partnering with senior leaders, influencing strategy, and delivering a high-impact people agenda.
Blending strategic insight with hands-on delivery, you’ll act as a trusted advisor across a broad spectrum of HR activity. From leading organisational change and navigating complex employee relations matters, through to driving engagement and shaping workforce plans, your work will directly support performance and enhance the employee experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business strategy
- Act as a credible, trusted advisor-coaching and constructively challenging leaders to drive outcomes
- Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructures and transformation programmes
- Manage complex employee relations cases with a balanced, commercially sound approach
- Deliver HR projects end-to-end, from design through to implementation and continuous improvement
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support survey action planning
- Use HR data and insights to inform decision-making and track impact
- Support policy development and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
- Continuously improve employee lifecycle processes and overall experience
What we’re looking for
You’re a credible and commercially minded HR professional who is comfortable operating at pace and influencing at a senior level. You bring a strong track record of partnering with leaders to deliver tangible business outcomes, and you know how to strike the balance between support and challenge to achieve the right results. You will have led HR projects and initiatives around organisational change, transformation and driving the HR strategy for your business area.
You will have experience working in complex or matrixed environments, where change is ongoing and adaptability is key. This means you’re confident leading through transformation-whether that’s organisational design, restructuring, or embedding new ways of working-while maintaining a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
Your depth of expertise in UK employment law and employee relations allows you to navigate sensitive situations with confidence and care. At the same time, you’re proactive in your thinking-using data, insight, and experience to anticipate challenges, improve processes, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Above all, you’re a self-starter who takes ownership. You manage competing priorities with ease, work autonomously when needed, and bring energy, curiosity, and sound judgement to everything you do.
