Wellbeing Manager

Location: Manchester ot London (hybrid working), 2 days a week in the office

Salary: Competitive + benefits

We are working with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced Wellbeing Manager to take ownership of its firmwide wellbeing agenda. This is a newly enhanced role with strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to make a genuine, long‑term impact in a high‑performance professional services environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the HR leadership team, the Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering a comprehensive wellbeing strategy that supports both employee health and organisational performance. The firm is committed to embedding wellbeing into its culture, leadership approach, and day‑to‑day working practices.

This position would suit someone confident operating at partner and senior management level, with a practical and commercially aware approach to wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the firm’s wellbeing strategy
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert and adviser to HR, partners, and people managers
  • Design and implement wellbeing initiatives across mental, physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
  • Manage relationships with external providers, including EAPs and wellbeing specialists
  • Deliver training, awareness campaigns, and manager capability programmes
  • Monitor and analyse wellbeing data, engagement feedback, and trends
  • Keep abreast of best practice and legal sector developments in employee wellbeing
  • Champion a proactive, preventative approach to mental health and wellbeing

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a wellbeing, mental health, or related role
  • Background in professional services, legal, or similarly demanding environments preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior level
  • Commercially minded, with the confidence to balance care with business realities
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Relevant qualifications in wellbeing, mental health, psychology, or HR are advantageous
