Senior HR Business Partner – Partner Team Location: London (Hybrid, with some global travel required)

Role Overview

This strategic HR leadership role focuses on managing and optimising the partner lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration, professional development, performance evaluation, and transition planning. The position requires collaboration with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and HR colleagues, to support the firm’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of lateral hires, ensuring their smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Oversee partner development processes, including feedback mechanisms and performance evaluations.
  • Support leadership teams in talent identification, succession planning, and engagement strategies.
  • Manage the partner promotion process, advising on assessment and election procedures.
  • Monitor retirement planning, provide coaching support, and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Analyse partner performance data and collaborate on strategies to address areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters and personal circumstances such as leave arrangements.
  • Act as the primary contact for partners, offering coaching and professional development support.
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives by promoting engagement and inclusion across the partner group.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and oversee partner-related documentation.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in HR leadership within a professional services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, talent management, and partner-level engagement.
  • Ability to build credibility and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Proven track record in handling complex HR processes, including promotions, exits, and performance management.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations
