Manager – Global Talent Assessment and Operations Lead
A universally well-regarded global professional services firm is seeking an experienced and multifaceted talent assessments professional to join its early and mid-career hiring global talent acquisition operations function. This newly created role supports a senior leader responsible for multiple verticals and represents an expansion of an already sophisticated, high-performing team.

This position offers a unique opportunity to take on a global, project-led mandate within an evolving capability area. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and advancing talent assessment strategies, with a particular focus on first evaluating current processes, leveraging data-driven insights, and testing and recommending future tools and methodologies.
Key responsibilities:
– Assess and map existing early career talent assessment processes across regions, identifying opportunities for enhancement and greater consistency
– Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making around assessment tools, hiring practices, and candidate evaluation frameworks
– Lead global, cross-functional projects focused on modernizing and optimizing hiring assessments
– Partner closely with senior stakeholders, including business leaders and partners, to align talent strategies with broader organizational priorities
– Support the evaluation and responsible adoption of new technologies that enhance people operations and candidate experience
– Contribute to the development of scalable, innovative approaches within a growing and evolving function
Required Experience & Competencies
Advanced degree (master’s or PhD preferred) -Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Data Science or closely related field
Strong foundation in talent assessment, psychometrics, or organizational research, with a passion for applying data to practical business challenges
Demonstrated ability to translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
Experience working with or evaluating technology solutions within HR or talent functions
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a developing or ambiguous environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable interacting with senior leaders
Financial, technology, or professional services industry experience is preferred

Location and working model: This role is based in either midtown New York City or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in the office. Some travel would be required in this role.
