We’re exclusively retained by a global luxury retail and e-commerce organization to appoint an HR Manager supporting its North American business.

This is a highly visible standalone HR role supporting a client group of approximately 50 employees. Acting as the lead HR partner for the business, you’ll work directly with leaders and employees across employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, engagement, and culture.

The role offers significant autonomy and ownership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and influencing decisions that directly impact people and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees across all people-related matters
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance, engagement, and development
• Lead performance management and talent review processes
• Support workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives
• Drive employee engagement and culture-building efforts
• Advise on HR policies, employment law, and people best practices
• Partner with global HR colleagues to deliver a consistent employee experience
• Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Manager experience
• Strong employee relations expertise and sound people judgment
• Experience partnering with and influencing business leaders
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law, particularly New York
• HR experience in luxury, fashion, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, consumer products, or other customer-centric environments
• Ability to operate independently and build credibility quickly
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
