Manager Compensation and Benefits
Overview
This position blends operational ownership with analytical support across compensation, benefits, and HR systems. Acting as a central point of coordination, the role ensures programs run smoothly, data is accurate, and employees receive timely guidance across a broad set of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of HR systems, including reporting, testing, and process improvements
- Act as a go-to resource for benefits and compensation-related queries, providing guidance to employees and internal teams
- Administer health, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, vendor coordination, and data integrity
- Manage employee leave processes (including various statutory and company-supported leaves), maintaining accurate records and tracking
- Coordinate with external providers to address escalations, reconcile data, and ensure smooth program delivery
- Support annual enrollment cycles, including system updates, communications, and employee assistance
- Assist with compensation processes such as job leveling, pay structures, incentive programs, and year-end analysis
- Generate reports and insights related to headcount, compensation, benefits, and compliance needs
- Ensure programs align with applicable regulations and internal standards
- Contribute to audits, data reviews, and ongoing process enhancements
- Handle additional operational and project-based work as needed
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members
Profile
- Solid experience across benefits, compensation, and HR operations in a structured environment
- Strong familiarity with HR systems (any major platform) and data/reporting tools
- Confident working with spreadsheets and handling detailed datasets
- Working knowledge of benefits administration, compensation frameworks, and regulatory considerations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communicator with a service-oriented mindset and sound judgment
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid work environment
