VP of HR
The Role
Reporting to the global HR leadership team and acting as a trusted advisor to the China executive committee, the VP of HR, China will:
- Set and execute the people and organisational strategy for China, aligned with global priorities and local market dynamics
- Partner closely with business leaders to support growth, brand elevation, and operational excellence
- Lead senior talent strategy, including succession planning, leadership development, and critical capability building
- Drive cultural leadership, engagement, and employer brand in a highly competitive talent market
- Oversee all core HR functions, including organisational design, rewards, employee relations, and compliance in a complex regulatory environment
- Act as a visible, credible HR leader internally and externally within the luxury and fashion ecosystem
The Ideal Profile
Candidates will typically bring:
- A distinguished HR leadership career within luxury, fashion, retail, or consumer‑driven multinational environments
- Proven experience operating at enterprise level in China, with strong credibility with senior business leaders
- A strategic mindset combined with pragmatic execution capability
- Deep understanding of China talent dynamics, governance, and cultural context
- The presence and judgement required for one of the most senior HR roles in the industry
Mandarin fluency is required. International exposure and experience working closely with global headquarters are strongly preferred.
