By 2035, Gen Z will be the largest generation in the global workforce—and they’re already reshaping the legal profession.

According to the Law Society Journal of NSW, the rise of Gen Z is set to profoundly shift traditional firm structures, expectations, and culture. This generation brings with it a new value system:

These shifts are already creating friction in law firms—between junior talent and senior leaders, between traditional models and new expectations. If left unaddressed, this generational disconnect threatens to undermine innovation, engagement, productivity, and well-being across the profession.

But this is not an intractable problem—it’s an opportunity, one that HR leaders are uniquely positioned to navigate and lead.

Join us for an interactive event hosted by Madeline Miller, a former Australian lawyer turned Hollywood entertainment attorney. We will discuss how HR Directors can proactively bridge the generational gap, future-proof their firms, and create cultures where all generations thrive.

In advance of the presentation, we’d love your input. This short 3-question survey will help us tailor the conversation to your firm’s real-world challenges.

Presenter

Madeline Miller

Madeline Miller brings over 15 years of global legal experience to her work as a leadership and career strategist, having worked across sectors, industries, and continents. Based in Los Angeles for the past decade, she served as Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs at leading Hollywood production companies and spent six years as Production Attorney for the James Bond franchise.

In 2021, Madeline launched her executive coaching consultancy and by 2023, she had identified and filled a critical gap in the market: the unmet professional development needs of Gen Z and Millennial talent.

She responded by creating one of the first executive coaching platforms tailored to NextGen leaders navigating the future of work.

Today, with a community of over 65,000 followers across social platforms and as the creator of a pioneering online coaching program for emerging leaders, Madeline is quickly becoming a go-to voice on intergenerational leadership, career evolution, and the skills required to thrive in today’s rapidly changing workplace. She’s a sought-after speaker, podcast guest, and advisor to organisations looking to unlock the full potential of their early-career talent—and bridge the gap between tradition and transformation.
